Song : Monteith Park (Kick Some Ass)
Details
A fictional tale about me and Chuck driving to Montieth Park on a weekend where the dudes hang out in the parking lot with their tricked out cars and loud stereos. It was generally pretty harmless people watching and got boring quickly.
It also hints at another story where Chuck and I were followed by this dude and a couple of his buddies who wanted us to stop for an "interview." They cornered us in a cul-de-sac and he got out to try to get us out of the car. I recognized one of the passengers in his truck and mentioned his name, so I think that spooked him and we quickly sped away. Just another example of the assholes that I had to put up with that wanted to pick a fight because we didn't fit their mold.

it's getting later and it's friday night my feeling is that something isn't right drive to the park and we can look and see
the kids are hanging 'round the lone street light they're drunk and rowdy and they need a fight don't look they're staring right at you and me
i'm going to monteith park going to monteith park i'm going to monteith park i'm going to kick some ass
my system's louder than yours system's louder than yours my system's louder than yours i'm going to kick some ass
just drive around and we'll stay in the car we should turn around we've gone too far turn your head before they look and see
i try to understand it's so bizarre we thought they'd be here and now here they are it's not looking good for you and me
i'm going to monteith park going to monteith park i'm going to monteith park i'm going to kick some ass
the water's dirty and cold water's dirty and cold the water's dirty and cold i'm going to kick some ass
(bridge) (solo)
i'm going to monteith park going to monteith park i'm going to monteith park i'm going to kick some ass
my secret's darker than yours secret's darker than yours my secret's darker than yours i'm going to kick some ass
