1999-06-05 - I was 28 years old.

A fictional story about a boy who liked a girl but was too shy to do anything about it and they each went on living their lives independently. Much time has passed and he sees her again from afar and still does nothing.

Lyrics

I don't know what happened long ago Everything has changed since then And now I see her why did she go and spend all of her time with him

If she don't recognize my face well I guess I am to blame If she leaves with him I'll go insane

I suppose I should just try to mend The cracks inside my broken heart It's impossible to compete with him I can't even try to start

My feelings now have been misplaced well I know that she's to blame now she's left me and I'm not the same

People tell me I'm not the only one she's ever done this to but it makes no difference any way

Because she tells lies that make me realize that not a day goes by that I don't sit and wonder why

I am not original enough to even win her back How can I do anything with the personality I lack

If I said something out of place well I guess I can't complain I just hope to be with her again I just hope to be with her again I just hope to be with her again
